Resurrection

Its been a long time since I posted in this blog so its time to resurrect it. 

I am still plodding along with the exercise thing but its not been consistent enough for my liking, too many things going on that I have let get in the way. My aim is to make exercise or activity some part of my everyday life - a priority for want of a better word. This started today with a 25 minute bike ride. 

The last time I rode a bike was a couple of months ago when some members of my immediate and extended family rode part of the Hauraki Rail Trail to celebrate my mums 70th

Before that it was a bike ride over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in April 2013

I do own a road bike, but due to a shoulder injury I sustained a couple of years ago I haven't done much cycling however that is going to change as hubby and I might be doing a rail trail in the South Island next year, so someone i.e me needs to be able to ride a little further than around the block.

Speaking of San Francisco while there I met Amber from Go Kaleo more about her and eating another day.

Struggles

Yes have been struggling on all fronts at the moment, exercise, eating, getting things done. Not sure that I have the answers as to how to get past it. Is it just trying each day to get over the hump? Examine what may be causing the problem or just hope you will come right?
My accounts are days behind and are due Thursday no ifs buts or maybe. I havent done any exercise since Saturday and my eating is crap! Could it be cyclic i.e womanly stuff or is it lack of sleep?
I dont have the answers only to try and keep pushing myself to get back on track. If anyone is reading this blog?? maybe you could post an answer.

Before I forget

Endomondo Walking Workout: was out walking 3.23 km in 31m:15s using Endomondo.

I did do some exercise earlier today and just about forgot to post it.
This was a walk/jog. With my shoulder injury I have to take it slowly in building up the running as the bouncing motion does aggravate the shoulder. If it is aggravate I don't usually find out until later.

aka bra, brassiere and probably countless other names.
Who designed these things I wonder and why am I mentioning the unmentionable? Well if one is to do exercise of the jogging variety then a good sports bra is needed, and especially if one is blessed or cursed to be over endowed.
The sports bra I own is Bendon brand, it has two strap settings, either straight over the shoulder or crossed over at the back. The problem arises while trying to close the hooks at the back when in the strap crossed position. I am just not a contortionist and can not manage this task on my own and that brings to mind another question how do women manage to close these things when they have no one to help? Or do others not share my problem?
Maybe I will need to do some research and either find a better bra, find some exercise that may help or contact the manufacturer.
And now its time to do some exercise.

Writing

Well this writing thing is not as easy as it seems. Compared to other blogs mine seems clunky and ill-formed but hopefully with practice that will change? One can only hope. Not that it probably matters since I am probably writing for an audience of one...myself!
I have been a bit tardy on the exercise front, one day as a day off the other well...procrastination springs to mind.
Was planning on a walk/jog this afternoon but the weather has conspired against me with rain for the last couple of hours, so I have just completed a small KB workout.
Still with the 8kg, slowly building mindful of my shoulder
